Funkadelic - Maggot Brain (Red Vinyl) LP

Funkadelic's Maggot Brain is a landmark of psychedelic funk and rock. Originally released in 1971, the album brings together raw funk, psychedelic rock, soul and experimental grooves in the unmistakable sound that made George Clinton and Funkadelic hugely influential on generations of artists.

At its heart is the legendary opening title track “Maggot Brain”, dominated by Eddie Hazel's extraordinary extended guitar performance. The album also features Funkadelic classics including “Can You Get To That”, “Hit It And Quit It”, “Super Stupid” and the sprawling “Wars Of Armageddon.”

This 2026 reissue comes pressed on striking Armageddon Red Vinyl and was mastered directly from the original analogue tapes. Mastering was handled by Dave Gardner at DSG Mastering, with tape restoration by Catherine Vericolli. The edition is released by ORG Music as a single 12-inch LP.
