This German car brand has a rich history. In 1885 Carl Benz was the first car manufacturer in the world.

The recognizable logo: the three-pointed star has been around since 1910. The three points in the star are said to be a reference to the fact that it was intended to build engines for use on land, sea and in the air.

When the two companies Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft and Benz & Cie merged in 1926 to form Daimler-Benz Ag, the brand name was also created: Mercedes-Benz.
