Product information
On I: Keep The Fire On, DI-RECT presents a deeply personal collection of songs exploring loss, comfort, friendship and the importance of human connection. The Dutch band combines its recognizable melodic rock sound with a more vulnerable and introspective atmosphere. The album was released on 9 October 2026 through 8Ball Music.
One of the album's key songs is My Friend, written around the experience of watching a friend struggle through fear and adversity and being there to offer support. Its subject reflects the broader emotional theme running through the record.
