Greyhounds - Live On The 29th Street Vol. IV LP

On Live On 29th Street Vol. IV, Greyhounds showcase the sound that has defined their long-running collaboration: warm soul, deep funk grooves, blues, R&B and roots rock performed with the immediacy of a live show. At the heart of Greyhounds are guitarist/vocalist Andrew Trube and keyboardist/vocalist Anthony Farrell, joined here by drummer Jay Mumford.

The recordings originated from a live-in-the-studio session at GSI Studios in New York and were first released through The 29th Street Editions in late 2023. The nine-song set draws largely from Greyhounds' existing catalogue, including material associated with albums such as Accumulator, Heaven on Earth and Primates.

The session arrives on vinyl in 2026 through Juke Joint 500. Relaxed yet exceptionally tight, the record combines Farrell's soulful vocals and keyboards, Trube's distinctive guitar playing and Mumford's groove-heavy drumming. An excellent choice for listeners who enjoy Southern soul, funk, blues and American roots music.
