Various Artists - Blues For Christmas 2LP

Blues For Christmas brings the festive season straight into the blues club with 25 vintage Christmas recordings spread across two black vinyl records. The compilation combines blues, rhythm & blues, rock 'n' roll and gospel, featuring both legendary performers and lesser-known gems from the American roots-music tradition.

The collection includes recordings by Chuck Berry, John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, Lightnin' Hopkins, Sonny Boy Williamson, Charles Brown and Freddy King. Instead of polished modern Christmas pop, expect gritty vocals, swinging R&B rhythms, electric blues and early rock 'n' roll.

Highlights include Chuck Berry's Run Rudolph Run, Charles Brown's Please Come Home For Christmas, B.B. King's Christmas Celebration, Freddy King's Christmas Tears and John Lee Hooker's Blues For Christmas.

Released by Second Records in 2026, this edition comes as a 2LP set on black vinyl, with catalogue number SRXM025 and EAN 9120005658639.
