A Study Of Elvis In Concert - Book+CD/DVD

A thesis of the TV-special “Elvis in Concert” The book contains 136 pages with over 100 beautiful photos and documents with extended information about “the tv-special”. A CD with renewed soundtrack + a DVD and a Blu-ray with same content in higher resolution. Every effort has been made to debunk accepted “facts”. Putting facts in the right factual perspective as should have been done years ago. And yes, it will make you watch the tv-special with different eyes.   This book will help Elvis fans explain and the media to correct their opinion when reviewing Elvis last TV special or better, his later concerts. It should pay the respect he deserves for his showmanship and genius which he really was. Elvis came alive on stage and he dug deep both nights to give us some amazing vocal performances that have stood the test of time. Elvis In Concert is a historical document. It has to be seen and listened to so someone can understand the full Elvis story. It’s the Shakespearean final act of a great life. Perhaps he said it best himself in a 1961 interview with Lloyd’ Shearer. ‘Cut Me and I Bleed.  The special is perhaps the rawest example of that we will ever see.”   For study purposes we had to include the original European TV-Special broadcast and a behind the scenes interview, four extra clips to support the thesis with renewed sound. And a newly restored, remastered and a re-arranged soundtrack to have a full concert experience! We removed the fan comments and filled it up with a missing track. All in new sound on a 24-carat gold disc. The footage is on Blu-Ray and DVD.
