AEDM marked the 2023 musical return of Acda en de Munnik, the hugely popular Dutch duo consisting of Thomas Acda and Paul de Munnik. It was their first full album of newly written material in more than ten years. In 2026, the record returns as a limited Transparent Blue Vinyl LP through Music On Vinyl.

The album's 11 songs were recorded at several locations, including Ameland, Kortenhoef, Edam and Memphis. Together they capture the duo's familiar style of melodic Dutch pop, combining storytelling, personal lyrics, humour and melancholy.

One of the album's biggest songs is Morgen Wordt Fantastisch, the Top 10 single that accompanied the duo's successful comeback. It is joined by the popular follow-up Tussendoor, alongside tracks such as Stoel In De Hemel, Twee Halve Zinnen (Zijn Er Een), Niet Gehaast and Maarten Missen.

This special 2026 Music On Vinyl edition is pressed on 180-gram transparent blue vinyl as a limited edition and includes a four-page booklet featuring the song lyrics.
