Product information

There are three songs on it by the current Bintangs, namely the title song 'It's a nightmare', a creepy song about someone who really needs to sleep, but is kept awake by demons. Then 'Outskirts of town' in a new version, which does so well live that we pressed it back into the grooves! Third 'Kick Kick Kick', a brand new song about someone with a split personality. The fourth song was only released in the book 'Elvis in Nederland'. This is a song we recorded with Dagomar, Gerben, Maarten and myself. It is a rock-hard version of 'Burning love'. Finally on the A-side (on CD it just continues) three live songs from 1983, with Harrie, Gus, Jack, Jan Paul and me, namely 'Wait' by the J. Geils Band, 'Met you on a saturday' by Bo Diddley and 'It wasn't me' by Chuck Berry. These songs were left over from the LP 'LiveTime'. The B-side of the vinyl is a recording of the live concert in the Oosterpoort in Groningen by the Bintangs from 2002. It was broadcast live by the K.R.O. With Gus, Kees, Jack, Jan and Frank. It is a kind of 'tribute to' Kees Brouwer. Fantastic performances of 'Heroes of hype', 'Waterfall of teardrops', 'Exciting accident', 'Shut your face' and 'The rhythm of your heartbeat'. In short, a historical overview and a look into the future. Frank Kraaijveld.
