The albums 'Hart' and 'Hard' were released as two separate albums on the same day: April 19, 2008. 'Hart' – a more melodic record with sensitive subjects and 'Hard' – a more traditional record with harder beats and 'brag & boast' lyricism. Partly inspired by the double album 'Stadium Arcadium' by The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Brainpower also wanted to be the first Dutch rapper to release 2 albums in 1 day at the same time. And so it happened… 'Boks Ouwe' was a cult phenomenon: from the Netherlands via Curaçao to New York people wore the popular shirts and to this day the chorus is quoted everywhere. Both albums reached the Top 20. Other favorites from the albums are 'If you are not there', 'De Elementen', 'Sunbeam', 'Heart', 'Hard', 'Voing' and 'Be Niet Bang' (with Freek the young).
On Record Store Day they will both be released for the first time on vinyl and each in 2 different editions of colored double vinyl.
