Initially selected as the lead single from Bryan Ferry's 1987 album 'BĂȘte Noire', 'The Right Stuff' emerged from a collaboration with guitarist Johnny Marr. Evolving from Marr's 'Money Changes Everything' for The Smiths, it became a sophisticated dancefloor hit, generating various mixes for clubs. For Record Store Day 2024, 'The Right Stuff' EP includes the original, '87 mixes, and a new mix by Johnson Somerset, known for remixes of artists like The Temper Trap, Duran Duran, and Bryan Ferry himself. Somerset's slow-burning remix extends 'The Right Stuff' into a smouldering, atmospheric triumph.
