Bullet Train, directed by David Leitch, known for his work on Deadpool 2, is a 2022 American action-comedy film. The storyline is based on Kōtarō Isaka's 2010 novel, Maria Beetle. Brad Pitt takes on the lead role as Ladybug, an unfortunate assassin seeking a peaceful resolution to his assignments after numerous chaotic missions. However, fate takes an unexpected turn when Ladybug's latest mission forces him into a collision course with deadly adversaries worldwide, all with interconnected yet conflicting objectives. The high-stakes drama unfolds on the world's fastest train, and Ladybug must navigate through the chaos to find a way out.
The film boasts an original soundtrack featuring various tracks. Notably, it includes Japanese language covers of Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive" and Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out for a Hero." According to composer Dominic Lewis, the soundtrack is characterized by "all vibe and no technique."
