Captain Beefheart And The Magic Band - Lick My Decals Off, Baby: Deluxe Edition (Record Store Day 2026) 2LP

Lick My Decals Off, Baby by Captain Beefheart And The Magic Band is one of the most adventurous and influential albums in experimental rock, originally released in 1970. Following the groundbreaking Trout Mask Replica, this album continues Beefheart’s exploration of avant-garde composition, blues abstraction and unconventional rhythms.

Featuring complex guitar interplay, free-form structures and surreal lyricism, the album pushes the boundaries of rock music. The Magic Band’s tight yet unpredictable performances create a challenging but highly rewarding listening experience.

This Deluxe Edition expands on the original release, offering additional material that provides further insight into the band’s creative process and musical experimentation.

Released exclusively for Record Store Day 2026, this edition is presented as a 2LP vinyl set, making it an essential collectible for fans of Captain Beefheart, experimental rock and vinyl collectors.
