Product information

Chris Rea – New Light Through Old Windows (2LP) is a beautifully curated compilation celebrating the very best of the British singer-songwriter’s early career. Originally released in 1988, the album features brand-new recordings of Rea’s biggest hits, all re-created with richer production, smoother arrangements, and a timeless sonic warmth.

Fan favourites such as Josephine, On the Beach, Let’s Dance, Working On It, and the beloved seasonal classic Driving Home for Christmas shine in these refreshed versions, showcasing Rea’s soulful voice and unmistakable slide-guitar tone.

Sitting comfortably between pop-rock, soft rock, and blues, New Light Through Old Windows represents Chris Rea at his artistic and commercial peak. This 2LP edition offers the definitive overview of his signature sound and remains an essential release for collectors and newcomers alike.
