Desolation is the landmark debut album by Cuby + Blizzards. Originally released in 1966, it is widely regarded as one of the most important Dutch blues albums ever recorded. Led by vocalist Harry Muskee and guitarist Eelco Gelling, the band fused authentic Chicago blues with raw blues rock, earning an Edison Award and establishing themselves as pioneers of the Dutch blues scene.

Featuring standout tracks including "Hobo Blues," "Desolation Blues," "Things I Remember" and "Five Long Years," the album captures the spirit of American blues while creating a distinctive sound of its own. Harry Muskee's soulful vocals and Eelco Gelling's expressive guitar work make Desolation an enduring blues classic.
