Product information

"Little Girl Blue Remixed" presents a captivating reinterpretation of Nina Simone's legendary 1958 debut album, "Little Girl Blue," in a 2015 remix edition. Originally released by Bethlehem Records, a label renowned for introducing groundbreaking debut albums by jazz luminaries such as Carmen McRae, Chris Connor, Herbie Mann, and Johnny Hartman.

DJ Maestro, seized with enthusiasm, embarked on the remixing venture, inviting some of his favorite producers to join forces, including Mop Mop, Renegades of Jazz, Gramophonedzie, Fab Samperi, The Reflex, and Mees Dierdorp. Each producer brought their unique touch, driven by the shared excitement of working with the original recordings from this iconic album. The result is a collection of 14 remixes, each offering a distinctive perspective on the original songs while infusing a contemporary vibe.

This remixed masterpiece, "Little Girl Blue Remixed," is now available in a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on translucent green-colored vinyl, adding a visually stunning element to this innovative tribute to Nina Simone's timeless artistry.
