With Big Thing, Duran Duran embraced a bold new musical direction in 1988. Moving beyond their signature new wave sound, the band incorporated dance, funk and house influences into a more rhythm-driven and experimental style.
The album features hit singles such as “I Don't Want Your Love” and “All She Wants Is,” while also showcasing more expansive compositions like “The Edge of America” and “Lake Shore Driving.”
Big Thing stands as a key transitional record in Duran Duran’s career and an essential late-80s release.
