What's the difference between the black book and the blue book?

The new blue edition of Memories & Magic Forever isn't a reprint, but the biggest upgrade since the first (black) version. This official version 7.1 contains 254 pages, with approximately 40 new pages and 4 additional pages, more exclusive photos, updated information, and a luxurious blue laminated cover featuring the unique Blue Pak Special.

We proudly present the new blue edition of Memories & Magic Forever – Earth & Fire with Jerney Kaagman Forever! The most complete, luxurious, and content-rich edition to date. This edition has been completely revised, expanded, and visually enhanced, printed on high-quality photo paper by OnlyPrint (approximately 1.5 kg, top quality) and distributed worldwide exclusively through Bennies Fifties.

The most significant addition is the Blue Suit Special: 13 previously unpublished photos of Jerney Kaagman in the iconic blue suit, taken by top photographer Rob Verhorst (pages 216 to 221). This is a unique visual highlight and gives the blue edition a special historical and collectible added value for enthusiasts and collectors.

Compared to the first (black) version, approximately 40 pages have been updated, 4 pages added, duplicate sections removed, and various minor corrections made for better balance, readability, and design. In addition, many new photos have been added by Chris Koerts (in consultation with Marjorie), Ton van der Kleij (via Marijke), and others, as well as special images, including Jerney supporting Ton during The March. Several photo pages have also been enlarged or reorganized, with additional and previously unpublished photos by Chris on pages 52, 67, 68, and 70, among others, and a full-page photo on page 129. The ParkinsonNederland campaign is now officially included in the book (page 252), and the separate A5 map has been discontinued, making the content even more integrated and up-to-date.

The content has been further updated with new Spotify listening figures (showing significant growth), additional pages featuring Ton photos, new collages, an Earth & Fire Forever poster page, the Fanclub Event III poster, and a redesigned fanclub background. Fanclub events have been placed more logically, such as Fanclub Day 2 under Memories, and Sezina's content has been moved from announcements to memories with new photos. This edition also includes a generous thank you to Ben and Sargon Franse and Martin Reitsma (Boulevard of Music), new collages featuring Naatje, Nina, and Ronald, among others, and additional exclusive images from top photographers such as Govert de Roos, Rob Verhorst, and Patricia Steur. Photo formats have also been optimized: some images are larger, while others are more subdued for a more professional and harmonious visual appearance.

With 254 colorful pages full of unique texts, interviews, fan memories, historical documentation, exclusive photos, and warm contributions from those involved, this blue edition is not a standard biography but a visual and emotional work of art.
