Product information
On July 18, 1953 Elvis Presley, then 18 years old, made his first amateur recording for four dollars on a 78 rpm acetate disc, with two songs: "My Happiness" on side A and "That's When Your Heartaches Begin" on the side B. The recording took place in Memphis at the famous Sun Studio Records of Sam Phillips. Elvis gives this unique copy to his mother, Gladys, for her birthday. To celebrate the 70th anniversary of this historic recording, RDM Edition offers you the opportunity to find these two songs on CD. Particular care has been taken to restore these two recordings as best as possible.
