Elvis Presley – The Last 24 Hours is an intimate documentary examining the final period in the life of the King of Rock 'n' Roll. This German edition carries the subtitle Ein Star Zu Lebzeiten – Eine Legende Für Die Ewigkeit and concentrates on the events surrounding Elvis' final hours at Graceland.

The documentary reconstructs this period through the memories of people from Elvis' inner circle. Joe Esposito, Lamar Fike and Billy Smith are among those sharing their personal recollections, offering a revealing perspective on the man behind the legendary public image.

The programme also examines some of the difficult aspects of Elvis' final years, including his health, prescription medication, personal relationships and the influence of Colonel Tom Parker. It is therefore primarily a biographical documentary rather than a conventional concert DVD.

Musical tribute material featuring The Jordanaires and Johnny Earle is also included, with songs and medleys celebrating Elvis' music. This European DVD edition runs approximately 60 minutes and includes several subtitle options, including Dutch and German.

A fascinating collector's DVD for fans interested in Elvis Presley's personal story, his final days and the memories of those who knew him closely.
