Better Than Ever! marks the third release from VV Records, featuring two legendary live performances from the early months of 1970 — a defining year in Elvis Presley’s career.

- Las Vegas, January 26, 1970 – Opening Night (Soundboard Recording)
- Houston, February 28, 1970 – Afternoon Show (Audience Recording, previously unreleased in full)

Both recordings have been professionally remastered from original tapes, offering a level of sound clarity and presence never heard before.

Elvis in His Prime

Following his triumphant ’68 Comeback Special and first Vegas residency, Elvis entered 1970 at full strength — confident, charismatic, and vocally untouchable.
The Las Vegas Opening Show is widely regarded as one of the finest performances of his career, while the Houston concert, recorded just weeks later, captures him at the same creative peak in front of an ecstatic crowd.

Remastered from a first-generation source, the Houston show delivers raw power and energy, living up perfectly to its title: Better Than Ever!
