Elvis Presley – For The Asking: The Lost Album (Limited Clear Red Vinyl) LP + CD

The Elvis Presley album that never appeared as a standalone studio album in the 1960s. In May 1963, Elvis returned to RCA Studio B in Nashville to record new material. The sessions produced songs including “(You’re The) Devil In Disguise”, “Witchcraft”, “Never Ending” and “Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers”. Although the recordings were intended for a new album, the project was shelved, and individual songs were subsequently released across singles and other albums.

The collection was finally issued in Europe in 1990 as For The Asking – The Lost Album, bringing the recordings together and offering fans a glimpse of the studio album that might have been.

Victory Records now presents For The Asking as an alternate album edition featuring fifteen distinctive recordings and versions, including alternate takes, a single master and an original stereo mix. This Limited Clear Red Vinyl edition is pressed on 180-gram transparent red vinyl and includes a bonus CD containing the same fifteen tracks. A special release for fans of Elvis’ Nashville recordings and collectors of alternate versions.
