Experience a powerful live moment in the career of Elvis Presley with the “On Tour 1974 – Amarillo, Texas” 2LP. This special release captures the complete concert recorded on June 19, 1974 at the Amarillo Civic Center Auditorium in Amarillo, Texas.
At the start of his legendary 1974 summer tour, Elvis delivered an unforgettable performance that showcased his unmatched charisma and stage presence. The show has now been fully remastered in stunning stereo for the first time, allowing fans to experience the energy of the concert with improved sound quality.
The cover artwork features an incredible photo of Elvis performing in his famous Peacock Suit, captured mid-performance while executing one of his signature karate moves—an iconic image that perfectly represents the power and spectacle of his live shows during the 1970s.
The year 1974 marked Elvis’s eleventh major tour, and the popularity of The King of Rock ’n’ Roll reached extraordinary heights. Demand for tickets was so intense that more than 13,000 fans signed a petition requesting additional concerts, which eventually resulted in extra shows later on the tour.
