Elvis Presley – The Final Show In Lake Tahoe (Deluxe 3LP Black Vinyl)

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s final Lake Tahoe appearance, the respected ReelTrax label proudly presents The Last Show In Lake Tahoe, released on vinyl for the very first time.

This exclusive deluxe edition is strictly limited to only 200 copies on black vinyl and has been produced especially for serious Elvis collectors. The package includes three LPs, printed inner sleeves, extensive liner notes and a newly remastered version of the legendary concert recorded on May 9, 1976 at the Sahara Tahoe Hotel, Lake Tahoe.

Widely regarded as the longest concert Elvis ever performed, this remarkable show captures him in an incredibly relaxed and humorous mood. Singing, joking, telling stories and interacting with the audience throughout nearly two hours on stage, Elvis delivers a unique performance unlike any other from the final years of his career.

Originally released in incomplete form by the MAC label in 1993, the concert later appeared as a complete CD release in 2008. For this ReelTrax edition, the recording has been carefully restored and remastered using modern technology, revealing musical details and atmosphere never heard so clearly before.

Highlights include a rare performance of Return To Sender, the seldom-heard Young And Beautiful, a deeply emotional rendition of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face dedicated to Linda Thompson, and Elvis’ hilarious story about the famous boot scene from Blue Hawaii. He even sings a few lines from his Sun Records classic Blue Moon Of Kentucky.

This deluxe 3LP set documents not only Elvis’ longest performance ever, but also one of his most entertaining, personal and memorable concerts.
