Elvis Presley – Raging Tiger: Closing Night 1974 (MRS, Black Vinyl 2LP Set)
To celebrate its 20th anniversary (2005–2025), Memphis Recording Service (MRS) proudly announces a spectacular new release: Elvis Presley – The Raging Tiger: Closing Night 1974. This limited 2LP gatefold edition on black vinyl will be released in November 2025 and is now available for pre-order at your ElvisShop Bennies Fifties. A legendary and controversial concert
On September 2, 1974, Elvis closed his Las Vegas Hilton engagement with a performance that would go down in history as one of his most controversial. While musically powerful and convincing, Elvis frequently digressed into lengthy dialogues, personal outbursts, and sharp remarks. These moments make this recording a fascinating and raw document of the era. For the first time ever, this show has been fully remastered and mixed in stereo, delivering an even more intense and powerful listening experience.
