Elvis Presley – The Sun Records Sessions CD

Elvis Presley – The Sun Records Sessions brings together the legendary recordings from the very beginning of Elvis Presley's career. This collection features the 22 surviving songs from Elvis' Sun Records period between 1953 and 1955, plus two exclusive bonus versions of My Happiness.
The first four tracks are the famous self-financed acetate recordings made by Elvis before his professional career at Sun Records began: My Happiness, That's When Your Heartaches Begin, I'll Never Stand in Your Way and It Wouldn't Be the Same Without You.
The remaining Sun recordings were produced by Sam Phillips, featuring Scotty Moore on guitar and Bill Black on bass. Together they helped create the groundbreaking sound that would transform popular music and establish Elvis as one of the most influential performers of the twentieth century.
Featuring essential early recordings such as That's All Right, Blue Moon of Kentucky, Good Rockin' Tonight, Baby Let's Play House, I Forgot to Remember to Forget and Mystery Train, this collection captures the development of Elvis' unique blend of blues, country, rhythm & blues and early rock 'n' roll.
As an exclusive bonus, the CD also includes two versions of My Happiness: a restored audio version and a special a cappella version.
An essential release for Elvis Presley collectors and fans of the legendary Sun Records era.
