You Won't Be Alone At The Holiday Inn is an extensive Elvis Presley live CD, capturing the excitement and variety of a full concert from the era in which Elvis' spectacular stage shows made him one of America's greatest live entertainers.

The recording begins in classic Elvis fashion with Also Sprach Zarathustra, immediately followed by See See Rider and I Got A Woman / Amen. From there, Elvis moves between rock 'n' roll favourites, emotional ballads, blues and dramatic showstoppers.

An interesting detail is Love Me Tender (With False Start). Moments like this add to the appeal of concert recordings, preserving some of the spontaneity and atmosphere of an actual Elvis performance.

Steamroller Blues showcases Elvis' bluesier side, followed by You Gave Me A Mountain and Love Me. His rock 'n' roll roots are represented by Blue Suede Shoes, a rock medley and Heartbreak Hotel.

One of the vocal highlights is Bridge Over Troubled Water, Elvis' powerful interpretation of the Simon & Garfunkel classic. The set also features Fever, Hound Dog and the dramatic What Now My Love.

The essential Suspicious Minds is followed by the introductions of the musicians and backing singers before Elvis continues with All Shook Up and I Can't Stop Loving You.

The final section contains some of the biggest showpieces in his concert repertoire: An American Trilogy, A Big Hunk 'O Love and, finally, Can't Help Falling In Love. The accompanying Closing Vamp / Announcements completes the concert experience.

A fascinating release for dedicated Elvis Presley collectors, particularly those who enjoy live recordings that preserve the structure, atmosphere and spontaneity of a complete Elvis show.
