Gilbarco Gas Pump 'Roar with Gilmore' Tall Model with Lighting

An exceptionally impressive Gilbarco-style gas pump featuring the iconic “Roar with Gilmore” theme. This tall, older reproduction was built in the style of a classic American filling station pump and, thanks to its substantial construction and authentic detailing, is remarkably convincing when displayed.

Unlike many lightweight modern decorative replicas, this example is constructed from thick steel and stands on a heavy cast-iron base, giving the entire pump considerable presence and a genuinely substantial feel. The deep red body is complemented by black Art Deco detailing, metal accents and a classic Gilbarco Cuco-Meter style display.

A fuel hose with metal nozzle is mounted to the side, further enhancing its authentic service-station appearance. Crowning the pump is the spectacular round “Roar with Gilmore” globe, featuring the famous leaping red lion, yellow background and chequered racing flag.

The lighting is functional, illuminating the upper globe and transforming the pump into an outstanding display piece, particularly in combination with neon signs, jukeboxes and other vintage Americana.

Please note that this is not an original period Gilbarco gasoline pump. It is an older, extremely solid and well-made reproduction, manufactured as a decorative object. Its proportions, materials and detailing, however, make it remarkably difficult to distinguish from an original pump when displayed.
