A brief history of Goodyear

Founded in 1898 in Akron, Ohio, Goodyear quickly became a pioneer in tire technology and automotive innovation.
Their legendary Winged Foot logo became a symbol of performance and endurance – from racetracks to airships.

The Goodyear Tires XL Neon brings this heritage to life with vibrant, authentic neon lighting – a celebration of over a century of craftsmanship and innovation.

Why real neon instead of LED?

At Bennies Fifties, we craft lighting the traditional way – using real glass neon, not plastic LED imitation.
Each piece is shaped and filled by hand, ensuring quality and authenticity.

Real neon means:

Warm, continuous glow

Deep, vivid color

Handmade quality

Long-lasting and timeless

Authentic vintage appeal

LED can copy the look, but not the warmth or life of real neon.
Real neon glows with character – just like Goodyear’s heritage.

Handcrafted excellence – built to last

Each Goodyear Tires XL Neon is handmade by skilled neon craftsmen.
The glass tubes are bent, filled, and mounted into a durable metal frame, combining industrial strength with vintage beauty.

This is more than lighting – it’s motoring history illuminated.
