Kate Ryan – Alive (Translucent Green Vinyl) 2LP

Kate Ryan – Alive (Expanded) (Translucent Green Vinyl) 2LP

Available at Bennies Fifties and the online Fifties Store

Originally released in 2006, Alive marked an important chapter in the career of Belgian dance-pop star Kate Ryan. Twenty years later, the album returns as a special expanded 2LP edition on translucent green vinyl, released by Music On Vinyl.

Following her international success with songs such as Désenchantée, Libertine and The Promise You Made, Alive presented a more contemporary mixture of eurodance, melodic pop and energetic club music.

One of its defining tracks is Je T'adore, the song with which Kate Ryan represented Belgium at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. Other highlights include the singles Alive and All For You, alongside fan favourites How Many Times, Driving Away, Wonderland and That Kiss I Miss.

For this special 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition, the original album is complemented by seven bonus tracks. The second record contains four French-language versions – Je T'adore (French Version), Je Donnerais Tout, Alive (French Version) and Combien De Fois – followed by extended versions of Je T'adore, Alive and All For You.

This Music On Vinyl collector's edition is pressed on 180 gram translucent green vinyl and is limited worldwide to just 1,000 individually numbered copies. An insert featuring special liner notes by Kate Ryan herself is also included.

A beautiful anniversary release for fans of Kate Ryan, eurodance and classic European 2000s pop.
