The Summer Portraits – Live brings the atmospheric and cinematic music of Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi to the concert stage. Recorded live at London's legendary Royal Albert Hall in 2025, the collection was released through Decca on September 4, 2026.

This beautiful vinyl edition is presented across two 140-gram coloured records, one pressed on Transparent Blue Vinyl and the other on Transparent Pink Vinyl. The contrasting colours provide a particularly attractive presentation for Einaudi collectors.

The performance combines favourites from The Summer Portraits with some of Einaudi's best-loved earlier compositions. It begins with Rose Bay, followed by the expansive To Be Sun and Punta Bianca, before moving through Episode One, Santiago and Jay.

One of the centrepieces is I Giorni, one of Einaudi's most recognisable compositions, presented here in a new arrangement.

The second LP features Pathos, Maria Callas and the hugely popular Experience, before concluding with two substantial performances: Nuvole Bianche and The Tower.

In the live setting, Einaudi's music is given room to breathe. Repeating piano motifs gradually develop and change, creating the mixture of intimacy, tension and cinematic scale that has made his concerts so popular around the world.

The Summer Portraits – Live works both as a live companion to The Summer Portraits and as a beautifully sequenced selection from Einaudi's wider repertoire.

An excellent 2LP for fans of Ludovico Einaudi, contemporary classical music, neoclassical piano, minimalism and cinematic instrumental music.
