Marc Almond — Heart On Snow (2003/2022) 2LP Red/White Vinyl – First Time on Vinyl!
A long-awaited treasure finally arrives on vinyl: Heart On Snow, Marc Almond’s celebrated “Russian Album” from 2003. This record stands as Almond’s heartfelt tribute to the tradition of Russian romance — intimate, dramatic, nostalgic and beautifully orchestrated.
For the first time ever, Maschina Records presents the album on double vinyl, newly expanded with two previously unreleased tracks plus the 2021 recording of “Black Raven”.
The Red/White Vinyl Edition symbolizes the heart and snow of the album’s title — a striking collector’s piece for lovers of color vinyl.
Heart On Snow features remarkable collaborations with prominent artists from the Russian music world, including Lyudmila Zykina, Alla Bayanova, Ilya Lagutenko, Boris Grebenshchikov, Aquarium and more. Almond’s deep voice blends perfectly with the emotional gravity and beauty of Slavic romance, making this album one of his most unique artistic statements.
