Product information
On December 21, 1970, the King of Rock 'n Roll unexpectedly appeared at the White House to meet the most powerful man in the world: President Richard Nixon. He urgently requested an official undercover position at the FBI. After all, wasn't he the perfect person to assist in their fight against drugs? What ensued was a frantic race against time to ensure the impromptu meeting went smoothly. This surreal moment in American history occurred before both names became synonymous with tragedy and corruption, in an era when Americans had both a King and a President. The legendary encounter of these two giants was captured at the time and remains the most requested photo in the National Archives.
