Product information
Original American “Crime Watch in Progress” warning sign from the USA. A fantastic piece of authentic American street memorabilia featuring the recognizable Crime Watch eye symbol prominently in the centre.
The bottom reads “To Report Crime or Suspicious Activity Call 911”, giving the sign an unmistakably American appearance. Signs like these were used in neighbourhoods and other areas to indicate an active community crime-watch program and encourage people to report suspicious activity.
This example has clearly seen genuine use and shows plenty of scratches, wear, marks and weathering. These imperfections create the authentic patina that makes original American signs so attractive to collectors.
A great piece of Americana for a mancave, garage, bar, American diner, shop, showroom or collection of original US traffic and warning signs.
