Product information
An impressive original vintage movie light by Mole-Richardson Co., London, originating from the United Kingdom. A fantastic piece of professional film and studio history that can now be used as striking industrial interior lighting.
The large metal studio spotlight has the characteristic heavy-duty construction associated with professional film equipment, featuring a substantial round housing, large glass lens and adjustable mechanisms. The Mole-Richardson branding is clearly visible on the lamp.
The light has been converted so it can be used with a regular spotlight/light bulb, making this former professional movie light suitable for everyday decorative use. It makes a spectacular floor lamp for a living room, loft, man cave, office, shop, showroom, restaurant or bar.
The lamp is mounted on a sturdy professional-style three-legged stand with wheels, allowing the complete unit to be moved around relatively easily. The stand is also height adjustable. In its current position, the complete lamp stands approximately 190 cm / 74.8" high.
The lamp itself measures approximately 36 cm / 14.2" in diameter and can be tilted to direct the light as desired.
It is in attractive used vintage condition with visible signs of age and previous professional use. Scratches, wear and patina contribute to the authentic industrial character of this impressive piece.
