Product information
A beautiful and very rare original Red Crown gas pump globe, manufactured from heavy moulded milk glass. This is an exceptional piece of genuine American petroliana, instantly recognizable by its elaborate crown shape and classic red and white appearance.
The entire globe is formed in the shape of a royal crown, featuring wonderful raised details including fleur-de-lis motifs, decorative elements and the distinctive red crown band. The moulded milk glass gives the globe tremendous depth and makes it an impressive display piece even when not mounted on a gas pump.
This is a genuine vintage example, not a modern reproduction. It remains in original used condition and shows signs of age and use, including local wear and imperfections. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.
A highly desirable display piece for the serious collector of American petroliana, vintage gas pumps, service station memorabilia and advertising.
Due to the fragile nature, size and irreplaceability of this original milk-glass globe, it will not be shipped. Collection only.
