Original Vintage Snobil Gasoline-Oil Mixture Can – USA

A fantastic and unusual original American Snobil gasoline and oil mixture can, dating from the era of classic snowmobiles and other two-stroke machinery. Its oversized SNOBIL lettering, snowflake graphics and “Gasoline – Oil Mixture” wording give this piece a wonderful period appearance.

Across the top it reads “Use Only Genuine SNOBIL Lubricant”, while the old LeMans logo remains visible underneath the main graphic. The lower section also retains its approximately 6½ U.S. Gallons capacity marking.

The can is in a great original, unrestored vintage condition. The red, white and blue graphics show genuine age with scratches, fading, dirt, surface wear and natural patina throughout. These imperfections are exactly what give the piece its authentic character. The filler neck and metal carrying handle are also still present.

An unusual piece of American petroliana and vintage snowmobile memorabilia. Perfect for a collection of old gasoline cans, snowmobile memorabilia, automobilia or Americana, and a highly decorative addition to a garage, man cave, workshop or showroom.
