Elvis Presley - I Found My Thrill In Vegas 2CD

Elvis Presley – I Found My Thrill In Vegas is an exciting new 2CD release from Panther Records, featuring two outstanding performances from Elvis' legendary February 1974 Las Vegas engagement.

This special edition brings together the February 7, 1974 Dinner Show and Midnight Show, with the Midnight Show making its first-ever appearance on CD!

The autumn of 1973 had been a difficult period for Elvis Presley. Health problems and his painful divorce from Priscilla had taken their toll. However, Elvis made an impressive musical comeback during his December 1973 recording sessions at Stax Studio in Memphis, delivering some remarkable performances.

That renewed energy continued into his January and February 1974 Las Vegas engagement, where Elvis appeared enthusiastic, relaxed and in excellent vocal form.

The shows from this period were characterized by an upbeat atmosphere, strong performances and a carefully balanced selection of rock 'n' roll classics, emotional ballads and gospel favourites.

February 7, 1974 was a particularly memorable day, featuring two outstanding performances.

While the Dinner Show was previously released on CD approximately seventeen years ago, the Midnight Show has never before been available on CD, making this release especially interesting for collectors.

Both concerts feature a fantastic selection of Elvis favourites, including See See Rider, I Got A Woman / Amen, Trying To Get To You, Johnny B. Goode, Hound Dog, Fever, Polk Salad Annie, Suspicious Minds, An American Trilogy and Can't Help Falling In Love.

Other highlights include Sweet Caroline, Spanish Eyes, Help Me, I Can't Stop Loving You and Let Me Be There.

As always with Panther Records, the original audience recordings have been carefully remastered using modern audio technology, providing clear and enjoyable sound while preserving the atmosphere of the original performances.

Additional recording sources have been used where necessary to complete certain sections of the concerts.

Presented in attractive packaging featuring artwork from Elvis' Las Vegas years, this double CD is a wonderful addition to any Elvis Presley collection.

Two outstanding Las Vegas performances from February 1974, including the previously unreleased Midnight Show on CD!

Strictly limited edition – once it's gone, it's gone!
