Timeless is a remarkable 2026 posthumous Prince album, bringing together ten rare and previously unreleased recordings from his legendary Vault. Spanning recordings made between 1977 and 2016, the collection covers almost four decades and is the first Prince release curated to represent every major era of his extraordinary career.

The album opens with I Am You, reaching back to Prince's earliest years, before moving through Tick Tick Bang, Heaven, I Wonder and With This Tear. Rather than functioning as a conventional greatest-hits collection, Timeless offers a fascinating look inside Prince's vast creative archive and his musical evolution.

Side B begins with Stone, followed by Calabama and The Guilty Ones, a 2007 recording released as a new single ahead of the album. Bestest Friend continues the journey into Prince's later creative years.

The collection closes with How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore? (Live), a performance from 2016. This gives Timeless an unusually broad historical scope, moving from Prince's teenage years in Minneapolis all the way to the final year of his life.

The project was mastered by Grammy-nominated engineer and producer Chris James, a former Prince engineer whose credits include HITnRUN Phase Two, Art Official Age and Plectrumelectrum.

Released on August 28, 2026, this Standard Edition is pressed on 140-gram black vinyl and issued through Legacy Recordings / Sony Music. The European/Dutch edition carries EAN 0199584532912.

An essential release for fans of Prince, the Minneapolis Sound, funk, soul, R&B and pop rock, and a particularly intriguing addition for collectors looking beyond his familiar studio albums and hit singles.
