Ramones – Road To Ruin LP
Available at Bennies Fifties and the online Fifties Store
Road To Ruin is the fourth studio album by the Ramones, released in 1978, and stands as one of the band’s most iconic and accessible records. While maintaining their trademark fast, no-frills punk sound, the album also introduces more melody, guitar solos and a more polished production style.
Featuring standout tracks like “I Wanna Be Sedated” and “Don’t Come Close”, the album highlights a maturing band experimenting with broader songwriting while staying true to their punk roots. It also marks the first appearance of drummer Marky Ramone.
A must-have LP for fans of classic punk rock and the enduring legacy of the Ramones.
