Rock-Ola Spectravox Model 1802 with Playmaster – 1941
One of the Rarest Rock-Ola Jukeboxes – A True Collector’s “Holy Grail”
An exceptional opportunity for the serious jukebox collector: this 1941 Rock-Ola Spectravox Model 1802 with its matching Playmaster represents one of the rarest and most desirable combinations in the world of vintage jukeboxes.
The Spectravox is a spectacular example of early 1940s American Art Deco design. Its tall and elegant cabinet, beautiful woodwork, illuminated vertical panels and distinctive styling make it unlike almost any other jukebox ever produced.
What makes this particular example especially desirable is the presence of the matching Playmaster. Finding the Spectravox together with its Playmaster is extremely difficult today, making a complete combination such as this particularly sought after by collectors worldwide.
For this reason, the Rock-Ola Spectravox and Playmaster combination is often considered a true “Holy Grail” among jukebox collectors.
This example has been beautifully restored. The rich wood finish, striking Art Deco detailing and atmospheric red illumination combine to create an extraordinary piece of American design history.
The jukebox comes directly from the USA and is now available from Bennies Fifties.
