With original vinyl copies fetching over £100 second-hand, Scott Walker’s 1995 avant-garde masterpiece ‘Tilt’ receives a welcome reissue for Record Store Day 2024 on 140g vinyl. Its atmospheric soundscapes and trance-like percussion, combined with influences from industrial music and traditional classical 'lieder' works, create haunting beauty. Pitchfork praises it as "Scarily, maddeningly good," likening it to an old mansion full of arcane treasures. Remastered for enhanced listening, this limited edition release is a collaboration with Scott's estate and the original producer, Peter Walsh, ensuring authenticity and quality.
