Secret Service – Aux Deux Magots (Orange Vinyl, 180 Gram Vinyl)
Available at Bennies Fifties and the online Fifties Store
Maschina proudly presents the first official reissue in 45 years of the entire Secret Service catalog. This exclusive Orange Vinyl Edition of Aux Deux Magots (1987) revives one of the most iconic Scandinavian synthpop albums ever made, newly remastered and presented with meticulously recreated artwork.
Recorded with young musicians Anders Hansson and Mats Lindberg, Aux Deux Magots includes several of Secret Service’s most beloved songs: “I’m So I’m So I’m So (I’m So In Love With You)”, “Don’t You Know, Don’t You Know”, and the fan-favorite duet “The Way You Are” featuring Agnetha Fältskog of ABBA. The instrumental title track became a cult classic thanks to frequent broadcasts on Soviet television.
Some tracks were co-written by Alexander Bard (Army of Lovers), adding further historical depth.
This reissue is dedicated to the memory of Tim Norell, the band’s principal composer and creative visionary.
The Orange Vinyl Edition comes in a deluxe flip-over sleeve with rare photos, new liner notes, and beautifully remastered audio.
