Oh Susie is the explosive 1979 debut album by Secret Service, a release that instantly made the Swedish band an international phenomenon. Issued worldwide – from the UK and South Africa to Japan – the album introduced a fresh pop sound that would later influence an entire generation of European synthpop artists.
The album features two massive international hits:
“Oh Susie” and “Ten O’Clock Postman”, both essential classics that shaped the band’s legacy.
In 2025, Maschina presents the first-ever complete official reissue of the entire Secret Service catalog, marking 45 years since the band’s debut. All audio has been newly remastered, and the original artwork has been faithfully recreated, enhanced with rare photos, detailed notes, and supplementary materials. The LP is issued in a premium flip-over sleeve with additional inserts.
This reissue is dedicated to Tim Norell, the band’s main composer and creative visionary, who passed away last year.
