Sylvania Lighted Vintage Advertising Sign - Original
The Dutch Pickers
| Size: | 68 x 11 x 14cm |
Product information
Beautiful and authentic original vintage advertising lighted sign for Sylvania, manufactured by the Ohio Advertising Display Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio.
This stunning illuminated countertop display features a classic streamlined Art Deco design with rounded ends and aluminum trim, typical of American advertising displays from the late 1930s–1940s. When lit, the textured green glass panel glows beautifully and highlights the iconic Sylvania lettering and lightning bolt logos.
Originally produced as a store counter display for electrical retailers, these lamps advertised Sylvania lighting products and were placed in hardware stores, appliance shops, and lighting showrooms. Because many were heavily used in stores, surviving examples today are increasingly hard to find.
The lamp creates a fantastic warm glow and is a perfect piece of vintage Americana advertising, ideal for a retro interior, vintage store display, garage, or mid-century themed room.
A wonderful collectible for advertising collectors, lighting collectors, or fans of vintage American signage.
