Talking Heads – Tentative Decisions: Demos & Live
Clear Vinyl LP + 7" (Record Store Day Black Friday 2025 – Limited Edition)

Available at Bennies Fifties and the online Fifties Store

To celebrate Record Store Day Black Friday 2025, Talking Heads present the remarkable archival release Tentative Decisions: Demos & Live. This exclusive set compiles rare demos, rehearsal recordings and raw live performances from 1975–1977, capturing the band in their formative years before reshaping rock and new wave forever.

The material reveals Talking Heads at their most stripped-down and exploratory, showcasing David Byrne’s unmistakable vocal style, Tina Weymouth’s distinctive bass work and Chris Frantz’s tight rhythms in their earliest, unpolished creative state. The release also includes a bonus 7-inch with two exclusive tracks available only in this package.

Pressed on Clear Vinyl and mastered specially for this edition, this release is limited to a single production run for RSD Black Friday 2025. Essential for Talking Heads fans, collectors of new wave history and anyone passionate about groundbreaking alternative music.
