Product information
Marquee Moon by Television is widely regarded as one of the most influential albums in the history of punk, post-punk and alternative rock. Since its release in 1977, it has been celebrated as a landmark record that redefined the possibilities of rock music.
Led by Tom Verlaine, Television blended the energy of New York's punk scene with intricate guitar interplay, poetic lyrics and extended instrumental passages to create a sound unlike anything else of its era.
Featuring classics such as Marquee Moon, See No Evil, Friction and Prove It, the album became a major influence on generations of post-punk, indie rock and alternative artists. The title track remains one of the most celebrated guitar performances in rock history.
