The Motions - Recorded CD SIGNED

Final copies from Rudy Bennett’s personal collection – hand-signed! When they're gone, they’re truly gone!

In 2018, guitarist Robbie van Leeuwen (of Shocking Blue, Tee Set, The Ricochets, and of course The Motions) uncovered a hidden gem in his attic: four never-before-released demo recordings by Dutch beat pioneers The Motions, originally recorded in 1967 at the legendary GTB Studio on Nassaustraat in The Hague.

Keyboardist PP Everts urged original frontman Rudy van den Berg (better known as Rudy Bennett) to revisit the material. Together with guitarist Alan McIachlan, they created new arrangements. The songs were then recorded by the current line-up of The Motions, produced by Eric Kuylaars at his ParkRoad Studio in Voorburg — raw, spontaneous, and mostly captured in a single take.

The result: ‘Recorded’, an album that bridges two eras. This special CD features both the newly recorded 2019 versions and the original 1967 demos — offering a rare glimpse into the evolution of a classic sound.
