The Motions - Recorded LP Limited Edition On Gold Coloured Vinyl SIGNED Nederpop

Last remaining copies – straight from Rudy Bennett’s personal stash. When they're gone, they’re gone!

These are signed by Rudy Bennett (Van den Berg) at Bennies Fifties August 2, 2025 & by Robbie van Leeuwen at Bennies Fifties on August 9, 2026.

In 2018, legendary guitarist Robbie van Leeuwen (known from Shocking Blue, The Ricochets, Tee Set, and of course, The Motions) uncovered a forgotten box in his attic containing unique, never-before-released recordings of The Motions from 1967. These long-lost demo tracks were originally recorded at the iconic GTB Studio on Nassaustraat in The Hague – the epicenter of the Dutch beat explosion.

Encouraged by keyboardist PP Everts, original lead singer Rudy Bennett (Rudy van den Berg) decided to do something special with the rediscovered material. Together with Everts and guitarist Alan McIachlan, they created fresh arrangements, which were then recorded by the current lineup of The Motions. Producer Eric Kuylaars captured the energy of the band in his ParkRoad Studio in Voorburg, recording nearly all takes live – raw, direct, and full of heart.

‘Recorded’ is a rare and powerful time capsule: side A features brand-new 2019 versions of four classic tracks, while side B presents the original 1967 demos – pure and untouched. Then and now, side by side.

Pressed on exclusive gold-colored vinyl, this edition is strictly limited. These final copies come directly from Rudy Bennett’s personal archive. No repress, no reissue – once it's gone, it's truly gone.
