Product information
A stunning original American Tokheim 300 gas pump, finished in the iconic red and yellow colors of Shell. This impressive piece of American petroliana instantly captures the atmosphere of classic roadside gas stations and the golden age of American motoring.
The pump underwent an older restoration and still presents beautifully. As the restoration was carried out some time ago, there are a few minor marks and signs of age here and there. These small imperfections add character and give the pump a more authentic vintage appearance.
The front features the characteristic Tokheim meter, complete with mechanical number displays for Amount of Sale, Gallons Delivered and Cents per Gallon. The fuel hose and metal nozzle are also present. Crowning the pump is a large illuminated Shell globe, making this an especially impressive display piece when switched on.
The lighting has been converted to operate on European 230 Volt power, making it ready to use as an illuminated display piece in Europe.
A fantastic statement piece for a serious collector of petroliana, automobilia and Americana. Ideal for a man cave, classic-car garage, showroom, restaurant, bar, shop or vintage automotive collection.
