Renowned DJ Andy Smith, of Portishead and "The Document" fame, curated this dynamic selection of 14 classic Northern Soul tracks from the 1960s. No Modern Soul or crossover, just pure stompers for dancefloor enthusiasts and vinyl purists. Capturing the essence of the scene, photographer Richard Oughton's images grace the album cover, showcasing the energy of Northern Soul events. Harlem Shuffle Records, a Franco-British label, specializes in reissuing essential and rare Rocksteady, Reggay, and Soul/Northern Soul gems from the 60s and 70s, garnering acclaim from critics and fans alike since 2019.
